Manama, Dec. 10 (BNA): A three-day visit by representatives from the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) concluded today.
The main purpose of this trip is to observe the Bahrain Olympic Committee expertise in the field of sports, including sports federations affairs, administrative services, education and coaches preparation.
JOC knowledge, training and education manager Narin Al Hajj Tass and Sport Federations Affairs Department head Rana Al Sa’ed wrapped up their trip with a fruitful meeting with Bahrain Olympic Committee general secretary Abdulrahman Askar.
During the meeting, which took place at the committee premises in Seef, both parties had discussions on a number of subjects of mutual interest. Askar noted the strong ties between both national Olympic committees at all levels.
The visiting delegation also met member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and the BOC Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa and congratulated her on winning the 2015 IOC Women Sport Award for Asia.
The JOC pair had earlier visited several sports facilities across the kingdom, including Bahrain National Sports Medicine Centre in Isa Town and the Sports Training and Development Centre in Juffair.
