Kerzner to bring luxury One&Only resort to Bahrain

Kerzner International Holdings Limited has partnered with Bahrain-based real estate and hospitality investor Sevens Holding to develop the first luxury OneOnly resort in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Located in Seef and featuring approximately 150 guest rooms and suites as well as villas and estates, OneOnly Bahrain is scheduled to open in 2016.

It will feature meeting facilities, entertainment and sport amenities, a variety of dining options and retail boutiques, private beachfront, and a OneOnly Spa.

Kerzner International CEO Alan Leibman commented: “I am thrilled we are able to partner with Sevens Holding to develop this world-class destination. More and more visitors are discovering Bahrain for both leisure and business and I am looking forward to introducing the resort to our loyal OneOnly guests and new guests alike.

“The beachfront location is remarkable and I am very confident that the resort will define ultra-luxury in Bahrain.”

OneOnly Bahrain is the 11th hotel to be announced for the OneOnly Collection.

Currently, eight are in operation, including OneOnly Royal Mirage and OneOnly The Palm in Dubai, and two are under development, namely a resort in Sanya, China, and OneOnly Portonovi in Montenegro, the first property for the collection in Europe.

Seven Holding was established in April 2011 to to cater to the different segments of the private sector and to tap the opportunities that arise through the vital industries of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Hospitality projects to date include three restaurants, Bushido, Millions of Milkshakes and Pica.
