Gaza, Aug. 17. (BNA) — Supreme Judge of the Sharia Courts in Al-Quds and Head of the Islamic Charity Society Shaikh Hatem Al Bakri has lauded the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support the Palestinian cause, hailing the landmark development projects launched by the Bahraini wise leadership, government and people for the Palestinians.
He also commended the efforts of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), led by the Chairman of its Board of Trustees Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in this regard.
This came as RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayad and his accompanying delegation met here Shaikh Hatem Al Bakri.
Shaikh Al Bakri said that the Palestinian people would never forget the fraternal stances of Bahrain towards the Palestinians and its landmark efforts in support of the Palestinian cause.
He noted that Allah Almighty will protect Bahrain for its constant keenness to provide relief for stricken peoples, adding that the kingdom, with its wise leadership and kind people, is immune from terrorism and sectarian divide.
He asserted that the Palestinians stand by Bahrain and its people.
On his part, Dr. Al Sayad expressed delight at visiting Palestine, noting that the visit represents a message from HM the King to the brotherly Palestinians that affirms the kingdom’s firm support to them.
RCO Secretary-General met a number of orphans in Hebron and conveyed to them greetings from HM King Hamad and Shaikh Nasser, praising the Palestinians’ resistance of the Israeli occupation.
He directed them to acquire knowledge in order to develop their country and their support their just cause.
In this regard, he revealed that HM the King, the Honorary President of RCO, directed RCO, led by Shaikh Nasser, to establish a Cultural Centre in Al-Quds, in line with its commitment to preserving the Arab cultural identity of Al-Quds.
Orphans expressed delight at the meeting with the Bahraini delegation and the fatherly feelings that prevailed during it, lauding the kingdom’s honourable supportive stances towards the Palestinians on all occasions.
They wished Bahraini wise leadership and people further progress and prosperity.
RCO’s delegation also visited the Family Recovery Association, Al-Amari Refugee Camp near Ramallah and the Child Association where they presented orphans with gifts.
