(ANSAmed) – BEIRUT, JANUARY 5 – Following in the footsteps of
Bahrain, Sudan and the UAE, Kuwait also joined Saudi Arabia on
Tuesday in recalling its ambassador from Iran, reported the
country’s official news agency.
What consequences this may have on diplomatic relations with
Iran was not announced.
After Saudi Arabia decided to break off diplomatic
relations, Bahrain also did so while Sudan expelled Iranian
diplomats from Khartoum and the UAE opted to keep in place only
trade relations with Tehran. (ANSAmed).
