MANAMA, March 10 (KUNA) — Kuwait women’s Taekwondo team clinched on Sunday two silver and one bronze medals during competitions in the Third GCC Women’s Games in Bahrain.
In the 67kg category contest, Kuwaiti Mashael Al-Naga won the silver medal, while Bahrain’s Olla Al-Doseri won the gold medal, and Qatar earned the bronze medal.
In the 57kg category, Kuwaiti Anood Kareem won the silver medal following her defeat by Bahrain’s Kaltham Jassem, who won the gold medal, while Oman’s Hajer bint Mohammad shared the third place with UAE’s Tasneem Saeed.
In the over 73kg category, Kuwait’s Shareefa Naeem won the bronze medal, while Bahrain’s Aisha Abdullah won the gold, and UAE won the silver.
