Leadership congratulated on Shaikh Khalid’s landmark achievements

Manama, Mar. 15. (BNA) – Shaikha Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, the member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Football Association, has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, following the world achievement attained by the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS), President of the Bahrain Athletic Association and Honorary member of the Riffa Sports Club Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa who completed the 42-km swimming challenge extending from the Sunset Resort in Saudi Arabia to the Sofitel Resort in Zallaq in Bahrain.


Shaikha Hessa also congratulated the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS), President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and Chairman of Al-Riffa Sports Club’s Honorary Members Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the success of the Swimming Challenge, held under his patronage.

She pointed out that Shaikh Khalid’s unprecedented exploit adds to the kingdom’s rich record of landmark achievements in the sport field.

She praised using sports events for humanitarian and charitable ends, commending the efforts of Shaikh Nasser and Shaikh Khalid in this regard
