Beirut, Sept. 27 (BNA): Lebanese Prime Minister Tamam Sallam underlined keenness on ensuring best relations with Bahrain and all the GCC countries, stressing that Lebanon’s official stances regarding its foreign relations can be expressed exclusively by the Lebanese government and can not be voiced individually by any Lebanese political party even though it is part of the government.
The Lebanese News Agency reported on the Prime Minister that the statements against Bahrain do not reflect the Lebanese government’s stance nor do they reflect the stance of Lebanon. He added, Lebanon who suffered for a long time from interference in its internal affairs reasserts its keenness on no interference in other countries’ affairs, including mainly the Arab countries and Bahrain, in particular. He wished Bahrain more growth, voicing confidence in their solidarity and the wisdom of their leadership.
The Lebanese Prime Minister added that the Bahraini people know about the Lebanese political system and the complexity of the political reality. He also reiterated keenness on respecting the Arab countries and their interests, pointing out the hard phase undergone by the Arab nation which requires unity to overcome all challenges.
