The conference started with film screaming about the Bahrain revolution showing the Human rights violations that the Al-KHalifa regime is committing against Bahraini protesters.

Participant after another condemned the brutal acts committed by the Bahraini regime and called for the international community to take a step forwards and act towards the Bahraini revolution.

The conference sessions are to be held on Thursday morning to tackle two main themes the first one is Supporting democracy and human rights in Bahrain and the second is about the Role of international organisations and civil society institutions in supporting democracy and human rights in Bahrain.

The bahraini revolution started february 14th 2011 and up till now it did not get the media attention it deserves , experts believe that this is because of the amount of attention media outlets are giving to the Syrian crisis.

Despite the silence of the international community about the crimes that the Bahraini regime is committing against protesters, the Bahraini opposition still calls for democracy and human rights to be practiced in the country.
