Manama, Sep 2 (BNA) – Chairman of Legislation and Legal Opinion (Fatwa) Authority (LLOA), Director General, Director-General of Preparatory Committee for Parliamentary and Municipal Elections 2014, Advisor Abdullah bin Hassan Al-buainain, today received a high-level Nepalese delegation led by Chief Election Commissioner, Dr. Rambhakta Thakur.

Advisor Al-buainain underlined the young and transparent electoral experience witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain. He briefed the Nepalese delegation on the mechanisms and procedures followed in conducting the electoral process inside and outside Bahrain, and the fruitful partnership with the Foreign Affairs Ministry and its role in making the electoral process in Bahrain’s embassies successful.

Dr. Thakur expressed his country’s keenness to benefit from Bahrain’s experience in the field of management and organization of the electoral process.

The meeting was attended by LLOA Director of Election and the Referendum, Duaij Al-Binjassim.
