MANAMA: Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa yesterday dismissed reports that Bahrain had expressed readiness to accommodate the Iranian Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) anti-government fighters.

Earlier, online reports had claimed that an official source from the UN office in Baghdad revealed that Bahrain had informed the US administration about its readiness to accommodate the MEK fighters, who are currently in Liberty Camp.

The minister said that the report was totally incorrect and that he had no knowledge of any such thing.
