Ministry says statement attributed to Foreign Minister "utterly false"

Manama, Sept. 13. (BNA) — Manama, Sept. 13. (BNA) — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has dismissed media reports that the Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa said that Bahrain hailed Iran’s participation in the international conference in Paris to address the fight against the so-called Islamic State.

“The statement attributed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, which was published by “Gulf Daily News” and some local and international newspapers and news agencies, claiming Bahrain welcomed Iran’s participation in the Paris conference on the fight against the Islamic State, is utterly false,” the Ministry said in a statement.
