Manama, Jan 23 (BNA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today was awarded the “Bahrain Scouts Shield” for its dedication in the field of community partnership.
This came during the 42nd annual Scouts Camp’s activities which was held by the Ministry of Education under the patronage of His Royal Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Son of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs participation comes as a part of the its programs in the field of Community Partnership (Social Responsibility) where the ministry held workshops on the diplomatic and foreign policy of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Ministry’s team also presented to the attendees the services it provides to Bahraini citizens abroad such as those who are travelling for purposes including studying, tourism, treatment and trade.
The presentations also focused on the efforts undertaken by Bahrain’s embassies, consulates, missions and their diplomatic staff.
