Montoya test voor Porsche tijdens WEC Rookie Test – 14 wagens in Bahrein

#4 Team ByKolles CLM P1/01 AERMitch Evans (Porsche), Richie Stanaway (Audi) en Sam Bird (Toyota) zullen elk hun eerste rondjes in een LMP1 afwerken. Het drietal werd niet door de constructeurs maar door de organisatie geselecteerd. Matthew Rao zal de Signatech Alpine A450b Nissan LMP2 aan de tand voelen, terwijl Lewis Williamson met de Strakka Racing Gibson 015S Nissan zal testen. Team Morand, AF Racing (lees SMP) en KCMG zullen ook elk met hun LMP2 aanwezig zijn, terwijl ook ByKolles (LMP1) heeft aangegeven in actie te zullen komen. Aston Martin zal drie Vantage V8 GTE’s runnen, terwijl Porsche ook met twee exemplaren van de 991 RSR GTE zal testen.
