MSST football team to leave for Bahrain

  • Friday, November 13, 2015 – Peshawar—Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Parvaiz Khattak has said that football team’s visit to Bahrain would produce best results besides gaining international exposure. The Chief Minister was addressing the Kingdom of Bahrain bound 26-member team of the Malik Saad Sports Trust who met with him at his residence.

    He said the tour would give them ample opportunities to show their skills besides learning good things through utilizing international exposure. The team will leave for Bahrain on November 20, 2015 for a seven days visit to play three matches series.

    Chief Minister said that the government is extending full support to sportsmen and associations to bring laurels for the country.

    He hoped that all the officials and members of the team will perform with the best of their capabilities and try to develop and strengthen brotherly relationship with Kingdom of Bahrain. He advised to act sportsman spirit in the ground and outside the field.

    The team members included Osama Iqbal, Khalid Khan, Muhammad Arshad, Ziaullah, Nadim Khan, Syed Salah Ud Din, Rashid Ali, Arsalan Khan, Muhammad Sohail, Usman Khan, Muhammad Umair, Muhammad Waseem, Inamullah and Muhammad Khan Khan. The officials included Said Mehmood (Chief de Mission), Nawaz Khan (Deputy Chief de Mission), Malik Ejaz (Chief Caoch), Basit Kamal (Coach), Faisal Javed Assistant Coach, Farooq Hussain (Manager), Ahmed Nawaz Malaizai (Assistant Manager), Naseem Javed Mufti (Sports Officer), Rashid Javed (Media Manager) and Amjad Sadozai (Photographer).—APP
