MSST soccer team meets Parvaiz, leaves for Bahrain on 20th

ISLAMABAD – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Parvaiz Khattak lauded football team visit to Bahrain saying it will provide international exposure to local players. The team will leave for Bahrain on November 20 for seven-day visit to play three-match series.
Addressing Bahrain bound 26-member team of the Malik Saad Sports Trust (MSST), who met with him at his residence, Parvaiz said some of these players would be part of the national soccer team through their performances. “The tour will give players ample opportunities to show their skills besides learning good things through utilizing international exposure.”
Parvaiz said that the government was extending full support to sportsmen and associations to bring laurels for the country. He gave words of advice to visiting team members and urged them to work hard and try to win the friendly series with brotherly country Bahrain.
He hoped that all the officials and members of the team would perform with the best of their capabilities and try to develop and strengthen brotherly relationship with Bahrain, he advised to adopt sportsman spirit in the ground and outside the field.
The MSST football team comprises Osama Iqbal, Khalid Khan, M Arshad, Ziaullah, Nadim Khan, Syed Salahuddin, Rashid Ali, Arsalan Khan, M Sohail, Usman Khan, M Umair, M Waseem, Inamullah and M Khan Khan. The officials consist of Said Mehmood (chief-de-mission), Nawaz Khan (deputy chief-de-mission), Malik Ejaz (chief coach), Basit Kamal (coach), Faisal Javed (assistant coach), Farooq Hussain (manager), Ahmed Nawaz Malaizai (assistant manager), Naseem Javed Mufti (sports officer), Rashid Javed (media manager) and Amjad Sadozai (photographer).
