Manama, July 13. (BNA) – Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Dr. Jumaa bin Ahmed Al-Kaabi stressed plans to carry out scheduled projects across Bahrain.

He cited the national strategy “Development 2014”, being spearheaded by the ministry in cooperation with the municipal councils to promote public beaches, walkways and public parks.

He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for the development strides under his prosperous era, stressing resolve to muster all ministry’s resources to spearhead projects aimed at promoting sustained development and enhancing citizens’ living standards.

Dr. Kaabi highlighted the land, recently granted by the Sudanese Government to Bahrain to promote agricultural and animal production investment projects, hailing strong cooperation bonding the two countries.

He hailed the crucial role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women and head of the Advisory board of the National Agricultural Development Initiative.
