Manama, June11(BNA) The Executive Committee of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Football Tournament (Nasser 7) held a meeting with the participating teams’ representatives at Bahrain Football Association Headquarters yesterday.

Several topics related to the tournament were discussed during the meeting such as match schedules and timings.As directed by the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Spport (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the draw for Nasser 7 matches will be held at the Officers Club in Gudhaibiya tomorrow (June 13).

Panels, players’ names, timings and shirt colours were also discussed yesterday. Head of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Media and Information Centre and Nasser 7 Chief Executive Officer Mr. Tawfeeq Al Salehy highlighted the importance of the tournament, considering it a main annual sports event. Mr. Al Salehy wished the participating teams the best of luck in the contests.

Nasser 7 starts on July 2 (the fifth night of the Holy Month of Ramadhan) and will continue to July 20. The organising committee assured that all arrangements and procedures are ongoing to ensure the success of the tournament.
