National exams to start on Monday

Manama, May.3 (BNA): Thousands of third primary school students will on Monday sit their national exams. The tests will run until Thursday.

More than 12,000 students enrolled at 123 public schools and 16 private schools will be tested in Arabic, English and Maths in accordance with Bahrain’s national curriculum.

The annual evaluative exams will be held under the supervision of the National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education Training (NAQQAET).

NAQQAET Chief Executive Officer Dr. Dr. Jawaher Al-Mudhahki stressed the crucial importance of the national examinations which reveal significant indicators reflecting the standard of public and private schools and students.

“Reports on the exam results will be useful for decision-makers to step up efforts to further elaborate educational strategies which would enable Bahrain to meet the international standards”, she said.

Hotlines 36289999- and 37769999 have been put at the disposal of the public for any queries or information relation to the national exams.

Samples of previous examples will also be available on the portal of the National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education Training (NAQQAET) on www.qqa.edu.bh.
