Manama, Aug 18 (BNA) — National Unity Film Festival called on Bahraini and Arab youth to participate in the National Unity Film Festival competition by the production of a film on national unity, respect the others’ rights and social coexistence, or highlights the sectarian and ethnic crises as well as civil clashes and their impacts on communities.

Chairman of the Festival’s Media Committee, Hussein Oraibi, explained the festival will dedicate encouraging money prizes for the best three films in the category of national unity films, adding that all Bahraini and Arab films produced after January 2011 regardless of their subjects can participate in this competition, in addition the Festival will also accept short international films for the sake of exchanging experiences and promoting the movie production culture among the Bahraini youth, and the last date for the receipt of films is 20 September 2013, or send a brief about the film to email bh.unity.ff @ gmail.com, and send a copy of the film on DVD to PO Box 10553 Kingdom of Bahrain, or send a copy of the film via VIMEO technology or DROPBOX.

The National Unity Film Festival will be held in line with the (Unity Unity) campaign launched by the Ministry of Social Development to promote national cohesion among Bahraini people.
