Nepal National Football Team leaves for Bahrain

ANFA farewells to the national team who are flying towards Bahrain and Kuwait to play practice matches.

27 members Nepal National Football Team including players and officials leaves to Bahrain for 11 days long practice for the SAFF Championship which is going to be held at Kathmandu form September 1 to 11 . Givemegoal.com can confirm that they will be playing friendly match with Bahrain Olympic team (U-23) on August 8 as Nepal will set up 11 days camp at Manama, the capital and largest city of Bahrain before they visit Kuwait.

Nepal flies to Baharain

23 travelling Players are as follows:

GoalkeepersKiran Chemjong, Ritesh Thapa, Bikash Shrestha

DefendersSagar Thapa, Ananta Tamang, Bijay Dhimal, Biraj Maharjan, Rabin Shrestha, Sabindra Shrestha,  Sadip Rai

Midfielders : Bhola Silwal, Bijay Gurung, Bikram Lama, Jagjeet Shrestha, Nirajan Khadka, Prakash Budathoki, Raju Tamang, Tanka Basnet, Tek Bahadur Budathoki

Strikers: Anil Gurung,  Bimal Gharti Magar,  Jumanu Rai, Santosh Sahukhala

Four travelling Officials are as follows:

1. Lalit Krishna Shrestha- Team Manager
2. Jack Steffenoski- Head Coach
3. Richard Orloski- Assistant Coach
4. Krishna Thapa- Technical Director

Rohit Chand and Bharat Khawas did’t travel with the team today as Bharat will be joining them soon and Rohit will join directly from Indonesia
