Saudi Arabia tiến hành không kích phiến quân Hồi giáo Houthi hiện kiểm soát thủ đô Sanaa của Yemen.
Theo hãng tin Gulf news, những binh sỹ này thiệt mạng trong một vụ nổ tại kho đạn của Lữ đoàn số 107 đóng tại tỉnh Marib, Đông Yemen.
Vụ nổ cũng làm một số binh sỹ Yemen thiệt mạng. Chính phủ Yemen gọi đây là một tai nạn, trong khi phiến quân Houthi tuyên bố đã thực hiện một cuộc tấn công bằng rốckét dẫn đến vụ nổ này.
Cùng ngày, Bahrain – một thành viên trong liên quân Arab chống Houthi – cho biết 5 binh sĩ nước này đã thiệt mạng ở miền Nam Saudi Arabia nơi họ được triển khai để giúp bảo vệ biên giới với Yemen.
Tuy nhiên, chính quyền Yemen lưu vong cho biết các binh sỹ Bahrain thiệt mạng trong vụ nổ kho vũ khí nói trên.
