No S’poreans affected by Bahrain blasts: MFA



SINGAPORE – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the bomb blasts in Manama Bahrain, on Nov 5, adding that there have been no reports of Singaporeans injured or affected by the blasts

In a statement to the media, the MFA spokesman said: “Singapore strongly condemns these acts of terrorism which have claimed innocent lives. We would like to convey our deepest condolences to the families of the victims.”

The MFA added that the embassy in Riyadh is closely monitoring the situation and is in touch with Singaporeans in Bahrain.

“We continue to advise Singaporeans travelling to Bahrain to take all necessary precautions to safeguard their personal security by monitoring local news and to avoid areas of public gatherings and disturbances,” said the MFA.
