INTERIOR Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday received, in the presence of Minister of State for Interior Affairs Major-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, Public Security chief Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, Customs president Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Interior Ministry Under-Secretary Major-General Khalid Salem Al Absi and senior officials.

He congratulated the leadership on the success of Gulf Air Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix.

He conveyed the Crown Prince’s appreciation of policemen for their role in the success of the global sporting event.

He thanked top officials and policemen for their competency in performing their duties. He said such efforts were part of the Interior Ministry’s mission to promote security and stability and secure international and national events in Bahrain.

The minister called for a meeting to review security plans and their implementation to develop their positive aspects and enhance performance to face threats.
