OIC condemns terrorist blast in Bahrain

JEDDAH, Aug 31 (KUNA) — The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned Sunday the terrorist explosion which took place recently in Karranah village in Bahrain.
OIC Secretary General Iyad Madani reiterated, in a statement, the Organization’s support for the Kingdom’s unity, safety of its citizens and territories, and all measures taken by Manama to boost security and stability in the country.
He also recalled OIC’s principled rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, stressing the importance of consolidating all efforts by the international community in order to defeat terror and terrorists.
The terrorist blast, took place on August 27th in Karranah village, northern the Bahraini capital, killed a policeman and wounded seven people, including security men and civilians. (end) nh.ma
