Oman at Arab tourism ministers meet

The Sultanate represented by the Ministry of Tourism will take part in the 16th Session of the Arab Tourism Ministers Council (ATMC), to be hosted by Bahrain tomorrow and Thursday. The Sultanates delegation is led by Ahmed bin Nasser al Mehrzi, Minister of Tourism.
The meeting will discuss means of boosting Arab joint action in the field of tourism and follow-up the implementation of the previous decisions including Know your country programme, which targets youth tourism. The meeting will also discuss enhancing joint co-operation between the Arab tourism ministers and the Latin America countries to reach a strategic partnership that serve the common interests of both parties.
The meeting will also discuss enhancing tourism sector and the criteria for selecting the capital of Arab tourism. It will also discuss the report of the Arab Tourism Organisation for 2013 and the report of the Arab Tourism Writers Union for 2013.
