Pak-Bahrain relations have strengthened in defence field

    Saturday, January 02, 2016 – Islamabad—Lt.Gen Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Commander of Bahrain National Guard while appreciating the success of the joint exercise Al-Badr -1 has said relationship between Pakistan and Bahrain, especially in the military and security fields have steadily strengthened and has become a model for allied and friendly relations.

    The joint Al-Badr-1 exercise was conducted between special forces of the Bahrain National Guard and Special Service Group of Pakistan Army.

    The Commander National Guard said high level of professionalism was displayed during the exercise.

    The high level of coordination and cooperation has also displayed the ability of Bahrain National Guard in combating terrorism. It has augmented the trust of the Bahrain special units to perform any task assigned to them for defence of the Kingdom of Bahrian, he said.

    Lt. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Isa Al-Khalifa said ties between both the countries have seen great advancements and cooperation in many fields, especially after the visit of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa to Pakistan which helped to further cement the strong bonds between the two nations in all aspects.
