Parliament Speaker condemns terror blast in KSA

Manama, May 29 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla condemned the terror blast which targeted Al-Anoud Mosque in Damam, Saudi Arabia, stressing that the terror attempts will never succeed in driving wedges in the Saudi community and shake their unity under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Parliament Speaker emphasised constant support of Bahrain’s leadership, government and people to Saudi Arabia, adding that its Security is part and parcel of Bahrain’s security and any aggression on Saudi Arabia is an aggression on Bahrain which is categorically rejected and will be faced by utter cooperation between both countries.

The Speaker also stressed that those committing the criminal terror acts have nothing to do with Islam or any Islamic doctrine as they aim to sow sedition and anarchy. He underlined the need to fight terrorism, boost national unity and further solidify social cohesion.

The Parliament Speaker reiterated condemnation of such terror acts which contravene Islamic precepts, law and human values, extending condolences to the victims’ families. He also lauded the efforts of the Saudi government in combating terrorism, underlining Bahrain’s support to all measures taken by the Saudi authorities to maintain the kingdom’s security and stability. He also demanded the GCC and international parliaments to condemn the terror acts threatening the whole region.
