Parliamentary support for Bahrain’s joining of Islamic Alliance stressed

Manama, Dec. 16 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla has affirmed full parliamentary support to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s joining of the Islamic Alliance against Terrorism, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


The kingdom’s joining of the alliance consolidates its efforts and cooperation with regional countries in fighting terrorism in order to achieve security and stability, he said.

Al-Mulla pointed out that Bahrain’s decision is part of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s policy in this field, adding that the establishment of the Islamic military alliance is a strategic step in the war against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

He said that GCC, Arab, Islamic and international councils and parliaments confirmed their support to all the efforts and initiatives aimed at fighting terrorism, ensuring security and stability, promoting developments, protecting achievements and developing parliamentary work.
