House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi seems to be getting battier by the day. The California Democrat said she can see Iran from Bahrain — more than 100 miles away.

She made this claim on CNN’s “New Day” Wednesday while discussing the 10 sailors who were captured and are being released by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

“I’ve been to Bahrain and looked right across the Persian Gulf to Iran,” she told co-host Chris Cuomo. “Everything is very close there.”

She clearly made this claim in an effort to puff up her foreign policy credentials and yes, the countries are close, but they’re not that close.

According to Google maps, the two states are more than 100 miles apart from each other at their closest point.

This is reminiscent of an oft-repeated claim that former Gov. Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her house. Although that claim has been disproved by Snopes, liberals continue to repeat it. What she actually said was that Russia could be viewed from an Alaskan Island — 55 miles away.

Pelosi’s claim, however, is sitting in the CNN vault for all to see.

Watch the exchange.

Social media loved it.
