Please don’t turn the Gulf into a war zone!

I was really terrified at the bombing outside the mosque in Bahrain last week.

I cannot believe that terrorism has increased to this extent. I have no peace of mind.

The more Bahrainis who travel to other countries where there is conflict, the more corrupted they become.

They should ignore problems in countries such as Syria and concentrate on their lives here in Bahrain.

We are living in the Arabian Gulf: The centre of oil, petroleum and other energies.

The Arabian Gulf is a special part of the Middle East – don’t make it a war zone like other Arab states.

In response to the article on revoking passports of terrorists, ‘Strip terrorists of citizenship call’, (GDN, July 21), the passport office should start giving passports to stateless Bahrainis who are not terrorists.

My siblings and I don’t have our passports yet, but we are not terrorists or protesters.

The General Directorate of Nationalities, Passports and Residence should grant us passports, as we are innocent and have no involvement in the turmoil.

Protesters and terrorists don’t deserve to have Bahraini passports.
My family would be proud to become Bahraini citizens.
