Austin police identified the security guard who died after being found injured outside of a bar in Southeast Austin early Sunday morning as 28-year-old Richard Escalante.

Police have not arrested any suspects in Escalante’s homicide and are still searching for two men who were in a black Nissan four-door vehicle that has been connected with Escalante’s death, police said Monday.

Escalante was found injured in a parking lot outside of El Agazajo Bar and Grill near U.S. 183 and Texas 71, police said. Paramedics transported him to University Medical Center Brackenridge, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
