Premier congratulated on ITU Award

Manama, Oct.4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Algerian Ambassador Qadri Al-Sayeh on the Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award, which was granted to him by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The Algerian diplomat hailed the prestigious award which was bestowed on HRH the Premier in a big ceremony at the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York, stressing the importance of the award as a source of pride which promoted Bahrain’s standing in the Arab and international arenas.

He affirmed resolve to continue dedicated efforts to further bolster solid fraternal relations and strengthen cooperation in all fields, in light of the leadership of President Abdulaziz Bouteflika and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
