Manama, Oct. 11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa ordered the Ministry of Health to submit an urgent report on swine flu cases in Bahrain and the procedures taken to confront it and prevent it from spreading. He also directed to inform the media about this disease with utter objectivity and provide the public with first-hand update on it and the necessary measures taken to ensure safety of the people in Bahrain.

HRH the Prime Minister directed the Health Ministry to raise its level of alertness and readiness to deal with the disease after the recent detection of some cases. He also directed the ministry to cooperate with specialised organisations, including the World Health Organization, to follow up on the disease and tighten inspection and control procedures.
