Bahrain: The Premier has urged concerted efforts to overcome current economic challenges. 

This came as His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday received parliament chairman Ahmed Al Mulla, Shura Council chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council members, MPs and senior officials. Former parliament speaker Dr Khalifa Al Dhahrani was present.

The Premier said Bahrain, like other countries in the region, has taken exceptional decisions to handle economic challenges and overcome their pitfalls. 

Fast-paced developments have also reduced available alternatives, he added.

He stressed the government’s interest in consolidating co-operation between the executive and legislative branches to serve the nation and achieve citizen’s aspirations.
