President Hadi holds talks with King Hamad

MANAMA. Jan. 19 (Saba)- President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi held on Saturday talks with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa at Al-Sakhir Palace in Manama, in the presence of Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander.

The King welcomed President Hadi, who arrived in the Bahraini capital Manama on Saturday in an official two-day visit.

During the talks, King Hamad stressed Bahrain’s keenness on bolstering strong bilateral relations in all fields for the good of both countries and peoples.

He wished Yemen lasting security and stability as well as steady progress, praising the efforts of President Hadi and the government to meet the Yemeni people’s aspirations and hopes.

King Hamad commended the Yemeni leaders for their wisdom and statesmanship, which allowed their country to emerge from the conditions it confronted.

He also hailed the cooperation bonding Yemen and the GCC member states, thus reflecting deep-rooted historic relations.

For his part, President Hadi congratulated King Hamad on the success of the 21st Gulf Football Cup, hailing the good organization of the sporting event.

The President credited the King for his wisdom in overcoming the past incidents, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

He also thanked King Hamad for the warm welcome and genuine hospitality, hailing strong bilateral relations bonding Bahrain and Yemen. The two leaders discussed latest regional and Arab developments.

King Hamad then bestowed the Ahmed Al-Fateh Order on President Hadi in recognition of his efforts to promote Bahraini-Yemeni relations.
