Prime Minister Court Chief receives Japanese ambassador

Manama. Sept. 4 (BNA)– Head of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister’s Court Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa received today Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Shigeki Sumi.
They discussed bilateral relations and ways of bolstering them as well as HRH the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Japan and ways of activating cooperation agreements signed by both countries.

Shaikh Hussam lauded the advanced level of the Bahraini-Japanese relations, stressing Bahrain’s keenness to further bolster cooperation between both countries and increase the volume of trade exchange and joint investments.

On his part, the Japanese ambassador thanked HRH the Prime Minister for his role in further boosting bilateral cooperation, underlining his country’s keenness to avail of Bahrain’s strategic location as a gateway to the Gulf and build a strategic partnership that consolidates cooperation with the GCC countries, in general, and Bahrain, in particular.
