Manama, June 29 (BNA): Bahrain’s Public Prosecution, today in a statement, condemned in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist attack resulted in the death of Egypt’s Attorney-General Hisham Barakat.

The statement said that the assassination of the honourable judge Barakat targeted obstructing justice and the rule of law. It highlighted its rejection of all manifestation of terrorism, and stressed maintaining justice and protecting people’s rights and freedoms.

Advocate-General Ali bin Fadhil Al-Buainain extended sincere condolences to Egypt’s Supreme Judicial Council, prosecutors and judges and the family of the deceased.
