Qatar Handball Federation (QHF) officials are seen with national team players and back-room staff members after they returned from Bahrain where Qatar won the Asian Handball Championship on Thursday. Qatar beat hosts Bahrain 27-26 in the final played at the Khalifa Sports City Gym in Isa Town. QHF President Ahmad Mohammad Al Shaabi was also present when the team landed at the Doha International Airport. Bahrain, Iran and the UAE – who finished in second, third and fourth spots respectively – have qualified for next year’s 2015 IHF Men’s World Championship to be held in Doha. Qatar qualify automatically as hosts.
