RAP 7th summer camp activities continue

Manama, Aug 4 (BNA): Interior Ministry in cooperation with Tamkeen has organized a visit programme to a number of leading national companies and archaeological sites for the participants in the Royal Academy of Police (RAP)’s seventh summer camp.

The participants were taken on a tour of Bahrain Company for Maritime Navigation to get familiarized with the history of the company and the functions of the various departments.

The visits program also included holding workshops for the participants on the concept of e-government and its policy based on Bahrain economic vision 2030, in addition to its role in providing e-services that contribute to building the skills of its customers.

The participants were taken to Zain e-Learning Center at Bahrain University and learnt about way of acquiring information by the use of flexible learning.

They attended a lecture on methods of prevention of domestic accidents at the Civil Defence School.

Finally, they were taken on a tour of Bahrain Fort Museum to learn about the history of the castle, which is part of Bahrain’s ancient history.
