RCO Secretary General gets assured about Bahrain Complex at Zatari Camp

Manama, March 8 (BNA)– In line with the directives of Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed held a telephone call with Secretary General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) Ayman Riyadh Al-Mefleh to get assured about the safety of the Syrian refugees at Zatari Camp after a fire broke out at the camp on Friday evening.

Dr. Mustafa affirmed that all residents of the camp are fine and there were no injuries or human losses, Thanks to God.


He added that Bahrain Scientific Complex and residential compound were not affected, either, by the blaze.


Only some tents were damaged when the fire broke out due to a gas leak from a cook’s cylinder, he pointed out, adding that the Fire brigade were able to bring the situation under control and put the fire out.
