Red Bull Racing has announced they will test a new Formula 1 steering wheel incorporating Twitter capabilities.
At the 2014 Bahrain Formula 1 Grand Prix this weekend reigning champions Red Bull will test a new steering wheel featuring Twitter integration allowing the drivers to tweet about the most important moments of a race.
Red Bull has probably found a loophole in FIA’s rules for the 2014 season so Daniel Ricciardo will have the possibility of tweeting whenever he will get in front of Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen or whenever there is an issue with the fuel flow sensor.
Although a great source of distraction, most of the time the new feature will be used on the pitlane when the drivers have a few seconds to relax and now will have a quick method to get in touch with their fans.
