Manama, Dec 27 (BNA): A number of staff of the Council of Representatives’ General Secretariat to participate in Gulf parliamentary training courses aimed at establishing cooperation, exchange of expertise and learning about the active parliamentary practices.
The participation comes in line with the Speaker’s directives on the development of the Secretariat’s cadres.
The Secretariat said that two groups of its cadres will participate in two parliamentary sessions, one of them will head for Kuwait to know about the parliamentary work mechanism of Kuwait National Assembly. The other group will learn about the role of the Gulf legislative councils using the parliamentary tools at Qatar Shura Council.
The House of Representatives has recently established the Bahrain Center for Training and Parliamentary Studies within its development plans and programs. Where training courses will be held to benefit the cadres of Gulf legislative institutions.
The participation opportunity will be available for citizens willing to join the training courses, which aim to disseminate the parliamentary culture, and to be familiar with parliamentary work, as the most prominent achievements of the royal reform project and democratic march in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
