RJEF President leaves Bahrain

Manama, March8(BNA)Royal Jordanian Equestrian Federation (RJEF) President Princess Alia bint Al-Hussein today left Bahrain after attending, as guest of honour, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa’s Arab Horse Riding and Equestrian Cup for the Disabled festival.


She was seen off at the airport by General Organisation for Youth and Sport (GOYS) President Hisham Mohammed Al-Jowder and Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed Siraj.

In a statement, she thanked Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for inviting her, taking pride in attending the festival in support of the disabled. She described the horse-racing and equestrian festival as an utter success, adding that it had achieved all its goals.

She also thanked the organisers, wishing the festival every success in the coming years to continue supporting the disabled. Princess Alia bin Al-Hussein met head of the Jordanian delegation Dr. Ali Al-Shawaheen and the disabled riders and congratulated them on their performance in the festival.
