Manama, Nov. 13. (BNA) — Commander of the Royal Guard (Staff) Colonel Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received here today the Middle East Senior Adviser at the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence Lieutenant-General Simon Mayall, currently on a visit to Bahrain, In the presence of the British Ambassador to Bahrain Iain Lindsay.

Shaikh Nasser lauded the outstanding long-standing friendly relations bonding Bahrain and the United Kingdom, praising the advanced level of bilateral cooperation in various fields.

He voiced Bahrain’s keen interest , under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in promoting bilateral relations and expanding the horizon of joint cooperation and coordination so as to meet the aspirations of the two countries.

They explored ways of promoting joint cooperation.

Lieutenant-General Mayall lauded the outstanding bilateral relations and keenness on promoting them.
