Manama: Feb. 12 –- (BNA) -– The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) hailed HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa citing His Majesty’s initiative of inviting to resume National Consensus Dialogue (NCD) on the political theme, accentuating that dialogue and understanding constitute inherent tenets of our Islamic religion and characterize Bahrain’s Muslim community.
The Council during its meeting this morning chaired by HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa urged all debaters to outweigh the interest our religion and the homeland more than any other selfish interests in order for the umbrella of national dialogue outcomes to expand and encompass all parties so as to ensure the benefit for the country and its citizens.
The Council also praised the Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayyib, for his publicized supportive stance in favor of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Arabism, territorial integrity and independence and who called for abstention from interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and other brotherly GCC States. The Council lauded the well-known permanent firm stances of Al-Azhar in supporting Islamic and Arab causes throughout history.
The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) submitted utmost congratulations and felicitations to the wise leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister; and, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander; and, to all the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the anniversary of the National Action Charter (NAC), supplicating to Almighty Allah to preserve the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people and to bestow security, safety and prosperity on everybody.
