A security guard in his late 20s was killed Sunday in a stabbing at El Agazajo, a bar near the intersection of U.S. 183 and Texas 71, police said.

Police received the call about the incident at 12:18 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found the guard in the parking lot with a serious injury, police said.

The guard was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge, where he was pronounced dead at 1:10 a.m., police said.

There were no suspects in custody by early Sunday morning, and police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a black Nissan four-door vehicle and two men believed to be involved in the stabbing.
