Thiruvananthapuram: Even as more details of the busted online sex racket are being unravelled, it has been found that as many as 63 women were trafficked to Bahrain as part of the flesh trade by Joyce Joshi and his gang.

The women were trafficked through the Nedumbassery, Madurai, Chennai, and Mumbai airports in a duration of one-and-a-half-year. The trafficking is said to have taken place with the tacit support of immigration officials, sources in the investigation team said.

The trafficking is said to have taken place between 2014 and September 24 2015. The investigation team is collecting details of the women which include Keralites as well.
