REGISTRATION for the second edition of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Scientific Research Award in the field of sports is underway, according to Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).

In a meeting, general secretary Dr Abdulrahman Sayyar, general coordinator Asma Al Kaabi and BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar discussed ways to promote the event.

Dr Sayyar said all Arab countries can take part. “The aim is to promote positive thinking among youngsters and encourage them to do research in the field of sports,” said Dr Sayyar.

The winner in each category will receive a certificate of appreciation signed by chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and president of BOC Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in addition to a cash prizes and commemorative gifts.
