Manama, Jan. 21. (BNA) – Researchers Ahmed Mubarak Salem and Dr. Mervat Amin Desoqi expressed pride in winning the Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Award for Scientific Research in the field of sport, noting that the prestigious honour bestowed on them will motivate them to exert more efforts in order to upgrade the youth and sports movement in the kingdom.

They praised the idea of award, noting that it affirms the belief of the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the importance of scientific research in developing sports in Bahrain.
