Budapest, Aug. 22. (BNA) – Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met here the President of the Hungarian Red Cross Georg von Habsburg, the grandson of Emperor and King Karl, the last monarch of the Habsburg Dual Monarchy of Austria and Hungary. SCYS first Deputy Chairman and the Bahrain Athletics Association President Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa was present at the meeting.
Shaikh Nasser discussed with von Habsburg issues of mutual concern, and affirmed the importance of enhancing joint cooperation for the common interests of the two friendly countries and their peoples.
The Hungarian Red Cross President expressed pride in boosting bilateral cooperation.
Shaikh Nasser and Shaikh Khalid are currently in Budapest to take part in the Hungarian Ironman Championship that will start here tomorrow.
